Research

I am interested in the cognitive, affective, and social processes that shape individuals' job performance and well-being in the workplace. My work generally falls into one or more of the following areas:

  • Person–situation interactions, with a particular emphasis on situational factors (e.g., situational strength and content),
  • Within-person variability in psychological phenomena at work (e.g., personality, affect, attitudes, and behavior), and
  • Social cognitions surrounding workplace behaviors such as counterproductive work behavior and organizational citizenship behavior, particularly among neurodivergent individuals (e.g., those with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder).

To address research questions in these areas, I use a range of research methods and designs, including quantitative approaches (e.g., experience sampling designs, experimental vignette studies) and, to a lesser extent, qualitative approaches (e.g., content coding via generative AI).
