Online Modules & Resources

Online modules and resources are shared through Canvas, where you can easily self-enroll.

We hope that your exploration of our resources and online modules will aid you in gaining familiarity with Canvas as a learner, which will in turn inform your own instructional design decisions for your courses.

After you've gone through the material, you may be wondering how to easily retrieve this course in the future or how to unclutter your Canvas dashboard. The Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences Online and Academic Technology Services has a guide to help you customize your dashboard, and change which courses populate there. You can favorite a course to easily find it on your dashboard in the future, or unfavorite it to remove it from your dashboard.

Integrating Campus Events Into Your Course

This module is geared towards those who are looking for opportunities for students to attend events, or engage briefly, yet substantively, with others in alignment with one's course goals. Activities that occur outside of the classroom but complement what is occurring within the academic curriculum are a powerful way for students to build skills and to integrate knowledge from the classroom into the real world. In this module, you’ll hear from OU Student Affairs professionals, students, and members of the Center for Faculty Excellence service and community learning and teaching teams.
