The OU Water Technologies for Emerging Regions (WaTER) Center has awarded Barbara Evans, a leader in public health engineering and urban sanitation, with the ninth International Water Prize. Her selection was announced at the 2026 OU WaTER Symoposium.

Gallogly College of Engineering welcomed more than 850 high school students representing more than 40 schools from communities across Oklahoma to the University of Oklahoma on Tuesday, Sept. 22, for the 114th Engineering Open House.
