Dr. Kalenda Eaton’s teaching and research areas include literary studies and cultural history of the American west, and African Diaspora studies. Dr. Eaton is a Fulbright Fellow, Associate Fellow in the Center for Great Plains Studies, and has received funding from the Mellon Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and the Social Science Research Council. She has traveled with students to Central American and several countries in Africa. Dr. Eaton is a CPD liaison to the Community Partners in Northern Uganda.
