HISTORY

The Department of Defense Communication Graduate Program, in one form or another, has been part of the Military Public Affairs Community for over 37 years. The first 14 courses were at Boston University, where the course was targeted directly to Air Force Public Affairs Officers. Since 1970, the course has been housed at the University of Oklahoma. Today, participation includes all branches of the Defense Department as well as the Coast Guard.
