MISSION

The Department of Defense Joint Course in Communcation introduces the student to theoretical perspectives of human communication behavior. Students build on that basic foundation to develop the ability to effectively apply principles of communication research and theory to public affairs strategies and tactics. This course applies a philosophy of education rather than training. Students receive a rigorous and challenging educational opportunity in an intensive and demanding environment. The successful student must apply sound time management principles and quickly adapt to a concentrated educational regimen.
