DFW Federal Statistics Research Data Center Consortium Membership

DFW Federal Statistics Research Data Center Consortium Membership

Pending final contract approval, OU through the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences, the Price College of Business, the College of Atmospheric and Geographic Sciences and DISC is piloting a membership to the DFW RDC consortium that provides access to restricted federal data for research purposes.

The DFW research data center allows approved researchers to access confidential microdata from the U.S. Census Bureau, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the National Center for Health Statistics.

For more details on the data that can be accessed please go to dfwrdc.org/data .

Researchers interested in performing statistical analysis using restricted-use Census Bureau microdata must first complete a project proposal. The proposal will be submitted to the Census Bureau and an extensive review process that evaluates the project’s benefit to the Census Bureau, scientific merit, need for non-public data, feasibility, and potential risk of disclosure will take place.

For more information on the process of proposal development please go to: dfwrdc.org/proposals or contact Wendua Di (wenhua.di@dal.frb.org) and Sam Bondurant (samuel.r.bondurant@census.gov).

Information on other contacts, news, events, and resources can be found on the website at dfwrdc.org  and by viewing a powerpoint presentation here.
