Welcome to Sooner Works

Sooner Works is a four-year, non-degree program for young adults with intellectual disabilities. Students graduate from the Unviersity of Oklahoma with a Certificate in Integrated Community Studies.

At Sooner Works, we believe in the power of self-determination--that students should have the tools, confidence, and support to shape their own futures. Our program provides a rigorous yet supportive OU experience where students with intellectual disabilities can develop the skills needed to live independently, succeed in careers, and actively participate in communities. We are committed to preparing students to navigate the world as it is while also transforming it by challenging assumptions, expanding access, and creating more inclusive opportunities in higher education, employment, and beyond.
