Facilities Management strives to provide a campus that aligns with the mission and strategic plan of the University.  Facilities Management team members are available 24-7, 365 days a year to accomplish this task and collaborate with customers. Facilities Management supports a variety of maintenance, landscape, utilities, and building needs. Below are frequently asked questions regarding the functions of FM. Service Requests

Facilities Management prioritizes and categorizes response to Service Requests based on the following Levels of Service:

Emergency: Immediate response due to threat to life, health, facility, or utility.

High: Response within 24 hours.

Routine: Response within 5 business days.

Actual completion times depend upon multiple factors, including but not limited to materials required, schedule availability, or multiple shops required to complete the work. Contact Customer Service at 405-325-3060 or e-mailing for the status of the Service Request.

Projects and Renovations

Projects or renovations over $500 should submit this form for an estimate or request. More information about the timeline can be found here.

Facilities Management has a limited budget to help departments cover costs related to renovations.  FM examines how each individual project affects the overall mission of the University and to continue academic excellence. A campus wide memo will indicate the project request deadlines for the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.

Billing and Cost

Non-routine services may be subject to departmental charges.  Please check with Customer Service, (405) 325-3060 or, for specific requests. Chart Field Spreads must be presented prior to any work being completed.

Keys and Building Access

Key requests should be made through the Service Request form.

Keys can be retrieved or returned at 160 Felgar in the Access Control building. Free parking is located on east side of the building.

Request to access spaces using your SoonerCard should be sent to

OUPD locks buildings after 10 p.m. Special requests can be sent to or 405-325-1717. Custodial unlocks buildings starting at 6:30 a.m. Special requests can be sent to or 405-325-3060.

Electronic readers with SoonerCard access can be installed.  Requests should be made through the Service Request form.

Hauling Furniture and Moving Offices

Requests to move offices must first be approved by Space Management.  More information and forms can be found here

Once the move has been approved, please submit a Service Request to request FM services, including furniture moving, picture or board hanging, special cleaning, keys, and nameplates. Please note all requests will be a departmental charge. All computer and phone services should be requested through IT.

Equipment and supplies, regardless of the condition or estimated value, that is no longer needed by a department should be transferred to Property Control for disposal.  Fill out Surplus/Property Control paperwork here.  Once paperwork is filled out, please submit a Service Request for FM to haul furniture or other items to Property Control. A Chart Field Spread will be required for this service.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found is located at 160 Felgar in the Customer Service building. Free parking is located on east side.  You may call ahead at (405) 325-3060 to check if your item is located at Lost and Found.
