Accessibility Resources

The Accessibility and Disability Resource Center encourages full participation for students with disabilities or learning differences and helps ensure equal educational opportunities throughout their time at OU. In order to benefit, students must self-identify and meet with a member of the ADRC team to develop an individualized accommodation plan. Common accommodations include note takers, exam assistance (extended testing time and/or reduced distraction environment), use of a word processor in the classroom, audio recording lectures, sign language interpreter, real-time transcription, captioned videos, reader and/or scribe for exams, and other reasonable accommodations to provide an equal opportunity for the student.

If you know or suspect that you have a disability that may be impacting your academic success, reach out to the Accessability and Disability Resource Center for more information at ou.edu/drc.
