Our fully online Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Digital Strategy (MA-SC) prepares you to create coordinated, proactive messaging campaigns for modern media channels in as few as 20 months. You will learn the research skills to use data analytics for campaign evaluation, leverage the power of social media to create communities, produce engaging content, successfully handle crisis communications, and build media relationships.

This 33-credit program also includes the opportunity to earn certifications from industry leaders in digital marketing.

The Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Digital Strategy is a fully online program conducted over five semesters (20 months). It features:

·       Courses that range from eight to 16 weeks in length

·       A blend of asynchronous coursework and live online classes

·       Mix of strategy, social media expertise, and analytic skills development

The program includes 11 courses for a total of 33 credit hours. We designed it to accommodate full- time work schedules, so our students can stay current with their career while earning a degree.

For 2020-2021, costs include:

· $27,000 (33 credit hours at $818.18 per credit hour)*

· $350 tuition deposit due upon enrollment

· Books and materials are an additional cost

Program Details

To apply to the online MA-SC, you must hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university (or appropriate international equivalent). You should have earned a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 in your undergraduate studies and have at least three years of work experience. 

You must:

  • Complete our online application 
  • Resume
  • Provide official college transcripts from all institutions
  • Submit a personal statement
  • Demonstrate English proficiency, if international student

Note: If you have three or more years professional experience in strategic communication, the GRE is not required.

We accept applications on a rolling basis. Applications are reviewed individually.

The online Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Digital Strategy admissions committee operates under a rolling admission process. Once the Office of Graduate Admissions has received all required application materials and evaluated transcripts, the committee will strive to respond to all applicants within two weeks.
