Understanding the real challenges and opportunities that an organization may face is an important part of what leaders do. While the task of maximizing organizational productivity and efficiency may seem daunting, leaders who understand how their decisions can affect all aspects of an organization can make the greatest impact.
The 100% online Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a major in Organizational Leadership program will increase your capacity to lead by showing you real-world organizational leadership practices that can produce solutions in your current and future positions. Designed for students ages 25 and older who have already completed at least 60 hours of college credit, the undergraduate leadership program will demonstrate how ethics, conflict resolution, diversity, social processes, and more interact to affect a leader’s decision-making at the individual, team, and organizational levels. You’ll also explore different leadership styles to help you develop strategies necessary to inspire growth and change within an organization and develop vital leadership skills in others.

For example, if a student transfers in 90 credit hours, only 30 hours at OU are required to complete the degree. At $500 per credit hour, the cost to that student would be $15,000.

Offered through the nationally ranked OU College of Professional and Continuing Studies, the Bachelor of Arts – Organizational Leadership online program is a fast-paced, accelerated program designed to accommodate working adults. You will be assigned an advisor who creates an individualized graduation plan when you are admitted into the program. This plan will help organize and identify the courses you need for your degree.
These courses will total 30 credit hours completed at the upper-division (3000-4000) level. Degree topics will vary depending on your proposed plan of study.
All undergraduate courses in this program are eight weeks long.
