Pedro Tonhozi de Oliveira is a Ph.D. student in the Tom Love Division of Entrepreneurship and Economic Development at the University of Oklahoma’s Michael F. Price College of Business. He studies how artificial intelligence shapes entrepreneurs’ thinking, learning, adapting, and responding, with additional work in social entrepreneurship, international entrepreneurship, and the philosophical foundations of value in management. His methods include experiments, econometrics, psychometrics, and Bayesian modeling, and he is developing novel AI-based measurement tools. A former Assistant Professor of Operations Management at FGV EAESP (Brazil), he holds a prior Ph.D. in Telecommunications and Computer Networking (UMKC) and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and he has founded seven startups. He brings engineering and founder experience to entrepreneurship and management research. He has 10+ years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels in entrepreneurship and related disciplines, and he serves as an AOM Student Ambassador and as an ad hoc reviewer for Academy of Management Review, Journal of Business Venturing, AMS Review, and Technovation.
