Alina Munteanu joined the Michael F. Price College of Business in the Fall of 2021. Prior to joining the finance Ph.D. program, Alina graduated summa cum laude from Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in political science and pre-law, as well as a summa cum laude Master’s degree in business administration (MBA). Alina is an empirical finance researcher specializing in private equity, law and finance, venture capital, and corporate governance. Her work has been featured in Financial Times.
