About Bristi Bose

Bristi Bose is a Ph.D. student in Finance at the Michael F. Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma, where she also serves as a Graduate Research Assistant. She holds an M.S. by Research in Finance from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, an M.Com. from St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, and a B.Com. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Calcutta.

Her research interests lie broadly in empirical corporate finance, with a particular focus on corporate debt markets, innovation, and market microstructure. Her current work examines how firms’ financing decisions and debt maturity structure interact with innovation strategies and how debt markets price innovation-related risks. She is also interested in the role of information in capital markets and the application of modern empirical methods to corporate finance research.

Outside of research, she enjoys detective fiction, European football, and cinema.
