William Meyers graduated summa cum laude from Rice University with a B.A. in mathematical economic analysis. Prior to joining the Michael F. Price College of Business in 2021, William spent 10 years in corporate and investment banking. In his last role, William served as a Vice President in the Oil & Gas Group at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, where he advised clients on a variety of strategic and financial matters including acquisition financing, credit ratings advisory, debt capital markets, and loan origination and structuring. His research interests include empirical corporate finance, risk management, and energy and environmental finance. William is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
