Thomas Schneider is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Boston College and a B.S. in Quantitative Finance and Mathematics from James Madison University. His research focuses on empirical corporate finance, with primary interests in banking, financial institutions, and financial intermediation. His work has been published in leading finance journals, including the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial Economics, and the Review of Finance. Additionally, his research has appeared in the Oxford Handbook of Banking and has been featured by American Banker and other outlets.
