Finding Balance in Remote Work
When: March 3, 2023 | 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The JCPenney Leadership Program is hosting their annual Parker Leadership Conference on Friday, March 3, 2023, in the Thurman J. White Forum Building. Registration and breakfast begin at 8:30, and the conference will start promptly at 9 am and end at 1 pm after a networking lunch.
The conference will begin with opening remarks from our conference’s namesake, Ken Parker, followed by our keynote speaker Brad Scoggin, the CEO and co-counder of ArborXR and an introduction of the case study by one of the case study’s authors, Mark Bolino. After opening introductions, the attendees will participate in group breakout sessions where they will evaluate and discuss proposed solutions to the challenge of deciding to allow remote work. Each breakout session will be hosted by a human resources professional from various industries. We are fortunate to include Senior Vice President Corporate and Human Resources Manager for American Fidelity, Thayla Bohn, Donny Greenwalt, Organizational Change Manager for American Fidelity, Caitlin Parker, Associate HR Generalist at Boeing, and Susanna M Gattoni, Deputy General Counsel at the University of Oklahoma.
The goal of this conference is to enable the attendees to look at real problems the business world is facing today and try to navigate a solution from a different perspective. Case studies are a great way to evaluate your problem-solving techniques on a larger scale, and the 2023 Parker Leadership Conference hopes to push the next generation into offering their solutions to their prospective employers.
