Keynote Speaker: Robin Roberson

Brad Scoggin

As a serial entrepreneur, Robin has more than 30 years of experience working with clients to develop solutions to improve their business. She has held numerous leadership roles throughout her career and has won multiple awards highlighting her commitment to customers, business organizations and her community.

Experience

Previously, Robin was co-founder and CEO of WeGoLook, where she changed the way insurance carriers (along with other industries) leveraged the gig economy, by dispatching on-demand “Lookers” to capture field data then selling her company to a global TPA for over 36M.  Recently, she held a dual role for the North American expansion of the Australian platform, Wilbur.io, and was President of Livegenic (via acquisition), continuing to service multiple insurance carriers. After successfully positioning the Wilbur platform by selling a portion of the platform and licensing the remainder to one of the leading US IA firms, she is now SVP of Eberl platform partnerships.

She is also an early investor of BuildArray, a low-code/no-code platform which enables customers to digitize all manual forms while easily creating custom workflow processes for maximum efficiency.

As a consultant for Future Point of View (FPOV), Robin is enthusiastic about sharing AI, digital strategy, and cybersecurity solutions aimed at mitigating risk for small and medium-sized businesses.

Background

Robin is currently an Advisory Board member for The Institutes Future of Risk, Board Director at BancFirst,  Board Member for United Way of Central Oklahoma, member of Leadership Oklahoma, Committee of 100, and was the first female director at OESC for the state, responsible for 450+ employees and 27 offices.

She regularly attends and speaks at industry events.  However, her favorite role is ‘mom’ to two amazing adult sons and three dogs.  As a breast cancer survivor, Robin is grateful for the opportunity to continue thriving personally and professionally.

Remarks

Ken Parker

Ken Parker

Ken Parker is a first generation college graduate. From a young age he developed a love for computers. He graduated from Oklahoma Christian, then earned a master’s in computer science from the University of Colorado, and an initial job in aero-space. Eventually Parker landed on Wall Street with JP Morgan. He moved back to Oklahoma in 1995 and started a company first focused on online education. About four months into the concept, a buddy from his JP Morgan days, Ethan Berman, suggested he and Parker pivot towards a company that provided risk management tools to financial institutions. Berman served as CEO and co-founder along with Parker. After eight years, they moved off Parker’s ranch and moved to Norman and continued to grow. After 10 years, they did an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. Two years after the IPO, they sold for $1.5 billion to MSCI in 2010. Now RiskMetrics has become the world’s largest independent provider of risk management solutions.
