Program Details

The JCPenney Leadership Program is hosting their annual Women in Business Leadership Conference on Friday, November 10^th, 2023, in the Thurman J. White Forum Building. Registration and breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. and the conference will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. WIBL will begin with our keynote speaker, then attendees will attend two breakout sessions, and will ultimately reconvene for networking and lunch where attendees can share skills, stories, and encouragement in the hopes of building a better and brighter community. The conference theme is “Unique Paths: Embracing Your Individual Journey,” and we will focus on meeting the individualized needs of women in the workplace through the lenses of self-empowerment and community building. In our three panels, attendees will gain valuable knowledge about inclusion, flexibility, and achievement. Our first panel will highlight the importance of non-traditional career paths to personal goal fulfillment. Our second panel will focus on finding your inner power and uplifting others through career advancement. Lastly, our final panel will inspire attendees to create their own path in entrepreneurship and specialized careers. Our goal is to inspire attendees to evaluate their own needs and goals in all the unique forms they may take, simultaneously empowering themselves to achieve and encouraging others to follow their individual journeys towards success.
