NORMAN, Okla. — The University of Oklahoma Michael F. Price College of Business recognized exemplary students, alumni and donors during its 15th Annual Honors Luncheon this past spring.

The May 5 event served as an opportunity to acknowledge “an outstanding selection of leaders who exemplify and fulfill The Purpose of Price® – to ensure the enduring global competitiveness of Oklahoma and the nation,” Dean Corey Phelps said. “Our Purpose is achieved through the strength of Price College’s connected community of outstanding students, world-class faculty, committed alumni and strategic corporate partners.”

During the celebration, Phelps praised the hard work and academic accomplishments of 36 Outstanding Seniors, stating they were in the top 1% of the college’s nearly 4,500 undergraduate students.

“The time and effort they have put into accomplishing this recognition is truly deserving of our respect and admiration,” he said.

Phelps and several Price Ambassadors presented honors to nine alumni and one foundation on behalf of the college.

Phelps also recognized Lee Symcox, CEO of First Fidelity Bank, who was celebrating 50 years of service in the financial industry. Symcox has been a dedicated supporter of Price College, particularly through the First Fidelity Bank Integrated Business Core Program.
