Processing Assigned Carts

You will receive an email notification when a shopping cart has been assigned to you.

If you created the cart, please skip to Step 3 in the below guide and continue the processing procedure.

  1. Access your assigned shopping carts by using the Action Items list on the Marketplace homepage. 
    Alternatively, you can use the left navigation to see a list of your carts. Go to Shop > My Carts and Orders > View Carts.

  2. Click the shopping cart name to activate the cart and begin processing.

  3. Click the Review Shipping button at the top right of the page. On the Review Shipping page, verify that the shipping address is correct. For information about how to change this address, see the Adding Details to Shopping Carts guide.

  4. Once the shipping information is verified as correct, click the Send to PeopleSoft button.

  5. The Marketplace cart has now been turned into a PeopleSoft requisition. 
    Note: leaving this screen without saving results in the cart being lost and you will need to resubmit your cart.

  6. To add budget details to the requisition, expand each line by clicking the dropdown to the left of the page. Then expand the Accounting Lines menu. Click the Chartfields2 tab and input the correct chartfield information.
    Alternatively, you can select all lines with the same chartfield information by selecting the checkbox to the left of the lines and selecting Mass Change at the bottom of the Requisition Lines section. On this screen, you can change the information in the Chartfields1 section at the bottom and hit OK, then apply to All Distribution Lines.

  7. Once a chartfield spread has been assigned to all lines, verify that the Shipping Summary information is correct and select Ship To Confirmation.

  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Check Budget.

  9. Once your budget displays as valid on the requisition, click the Save and Submit button. 

The Requisition will now go through approvals before being sourced into a PO and dispatched to the supplier. Both the Shopper and the Requester will get a notification when the PO is sent to the supplier.
