OU Polytechnic Institute / How to Apply

Your future with the OU Polytechnic Institute begins here.

Applying for your degree is just the first step in a journey at OUPI that will change the course of your life.

Students interested in completing their education at OUPI upon completion of their associates degree from another institution (like TCC) are encouraged to apply as soon as they reach 24 credit hours to ensure the easiest possible transfer experience.

Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity

  • Completed application form
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Minimum 24 credit hours earned at the time of application

This is a bachelor's completion program. Students traditionally transfer to OUPI once they have earned an associates degree or taken at least 24 hours from an accredited institution, such as Tulsa Community College.

Yes, there is a $40 non-refundable application fee for domestic applicants.

  1. Submit the OU application. This includes a $40 non-refundable application fee for domestic applicants.

  2. Request your supporting documents be sent to us:

    • Official transcripts from each collegiate institution attended

Institutions can send documents directly to us electronically to oardocuments@ou.edu or by mail to:

Once the Office of Admissions & Recruitment has received your application and all supporting documents, we will evaluate and verify your academic credentials. You should receive a notification of your admission decision through regular mail within four to six weeks.

TCC students interested in completing their education at OUPI are encouraged to apply as soon as they complete 24 credit hours. Advisors can then ensure that all prerequisite coursework is taken before enrolling at OUPI.

Official transcripts must be sent directly from your prior institution and can be sent electronically to oardocuments@ou.edu or by mail at the address below.  Transcripts submitted directly from a student to oardocuments@ou.edu will not be accepted.
