Life in Tulsa

Making Tulsa Home

In this community, there’s never an empty day. The city is home to Philbrook Museum of Art, Gilcrease Museum and the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art. The BOK Center brings in headline acts with the Brady Theater and world-famous Cain’s Ballroom offering more intimate venues. The Tulsa Zoo and Oklahoma Aquarium provide days of family fun; and the Tulsa Performing Arts Center hosts its annual Broadway series, along with performances from the Tulsa Opera, Tulsa Ballet and Tulsa Symphony. The River Parks trail system provides miles of trails to explore on foot or bike, and Turkey Mountain provides an urban wilderness for hiking and mountain bike enthusiasts. Kick back in one of our distinct districts and enjoy the local restaurants, breweries and art scenes that make the city unique. From the Blue Dome and Tulsa Arts District to Brookside and Cherry Street; you’ll be part of a diverse community growing stronger — built on new dreams and fresh opportunities.

Hisyoric Dowtown Tulsa

Over the past decade, Tulsa’s downtown has added a new ballpark, arena, a thriving arts district and hundreds of new residents. The downtown Tulsa Arts District features a collection of art galleries, an urban park and monthly art crawl attracting thousands to the district. Just south of downtown, nearly 100 acres of Arkansas River waterfront is being transformed into a park featuring a lodge, boathouse, five-acre playground, bike and skate parks and natural trails.

Tulsa is the perfect ‘sweet spot’ size - small enough to have an accessible cost-of-living but large enough to support world-class food, arts, and outdoor parks. Here are a few of our favorite things to do in Tulsa.
