OU-Tulsa Staff Senate Merit Award Nominations

The Staff Senate Merit Award program recognizes contributions made by OU-Tulsa staff who go beyond the expectations of their employment. 

  • Nominations are now closed for 2024 and will re-open in February 2025

Eligibility & Rules:

The nomination form must be 100% complete. Incomplete or anonymous nominations will not be considered. Faculty, staff, and students may nominate a staff member for a Merit Award. To be eligible for this award, the employee must have held a 50% or more FTE, permanent, non-faculty appointment at OU-Tulsa for at least two (2) consecutive calendar years. Merit Award recipients cannot be considered for new nominations for a period of 3 years after receiving the award.

Nominations will be considered and voted upon by the Merit Award Committee. This committee is made up of OU-Tulsa staff members, organized according to the Staff Senate By-Laws. The committee’s recommendations will be forwarded to the OU-Tulsa President for approval.
