Regents' Award for Superior Staff
The Regents' Award for Superior Staff (RASS) was developed to recognize the outstanding coontributions made by University staff members whose job performance, service activities, and dedication have enhanced the mission of The University of Oklahoma. The outstanding job performance and/or superior service should reflect perspective, initiative, and efforts that transcend the boundaries of the individual's designated work responsibilities.
In 2018, the Regents expanded the award to include an annual recipient from the Tulsa campus. Nominees must have been employed in a continuous, full-time staff position on the Tulsa campus for at least 5 consecutive years as of January 1 of the award year. Hourly staff, professional staff, managerial staff, administrative staff, and administrative officers are eligible for nomination. Recipients from the past 5 years are not eligible for nomination.
The President will solicit nominations, facilitated through the OU-Tulsa President's Office. One winner will be selected annually, announced at the awards reception usually held during Staff Week in April.
