RSO Premium Space Waived Fee Program
All OU Registered Student Organizations will also be able to take advantage of the new OMU Premium Space Waived Fee Program that allows any RSO to make one (1) booking in an OMU Premium Space free of charge each fiscal year.
Steps to Utilize the Program:
- A representative from the OU Registered Student Organization makes a booking for one of the OMU Premium spaces.
- When the representative receives the email confirmation from the OMU Scheduling staff, there will be a link to the Waived Fee Program request form.
- The representative may complete this form.
After the form is completed, the fee will be waived and an updated confirmation will be sent to the Booking contact.
The OU Registered Student Organization's premium space waived fee is now used for that fiscal year. cannot be utilized for any other bookings for the remainder of the respective fiscal year term (July 1 - June 30).

Named for Ted Beaird, the first director of the Oklahoma Memorial Union, Beaird Lounge offers a comfortable, yet formal, area to rest in overstuffed chairs and sofas while you chat with a friend or read for a few minutes. Permanent furnishings include sofas, arm chairs, a baby grand piano, and fireplace.

Retractable walls move to combine the Governors, Regents and Associates Rooms (or GRA Rooms) for large events that are perhaps not quite large enough for the ballroom. The combined space is well-appointed with antique chandeliers and carved wood cornices. The Governors and Regents Rooms or the Regents and Associates Rooms can also be combined separately, talk to the Campus Scheduling office staff for pricing.

PREMIUM SPACE
Meacham Auditorium honors former Arts & Sciences Dean, Edgar Meacham. A 2011 renovation included new carpet, stage curtains, seating, and improved audio-visual capabilities. Meacham Auditorium contains a 40 channel console audio mixer including multiple monitor mixes for bands and multi-variety acts, full light dimming capabilities including color LED lights, a full video presentation system with "seamless" switching from a variety of sources, a 15K lumen projector capable of producing High Definition images from HD sources, a line-array speaker system with a 7.1 Dolby Pro Logic surround system, wireless and instrument/vocal microphones, 35 mm and 16 mm film projection systems in addition to Blu-Ray capabilities. Technical Assistance from the union is required at a cost of $40 per hour.

PREMIUM SPACE
The ballroom of the Oklahoma Memorial Union was named by the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents in 2004 in honor of Molly Shi Boren in recognition of the tenth anniversary of her service as First Lady of the University. The ballroom's parquet wood floor, arched windows, and antique chandeliers make its elegance unique in Oklahoma. This space is large enough to have a dinner and dance in the same room, a DJ and band, banquet, or lecture. The rental of the ballroom also includes the outdoor terrace that overlooks the courtyard and Parrington Oval.
