The Writing Center aims to offer services in a variety of locations at a variety of times to suit the needs of all students.
We primariy operate in two (2) spaces on campus, in addition to having remote consultation options available. Our main office is in Wagner Hall, and we have one satellite location throughout the week in Bizzell Library.
As of Spring 2026, we are adding a third in-person location. On Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm, graduate students are able to schedule or drop-in for face-to-face appointments in Robertson Hall, room 311.

The WC Main Office is generally open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. During the academic year, appointments in Wagner take place Monday - Friday. During the summer, appointments in Wagner take place Monday - Thursday. See "Wagner Consulting Hours" for details.

Consultations @ OU Libraries

Weekday evening consultations (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5pm to 8pm) take place in Bizzell. These services begin in Week 3 of each semester. The Writing Center does not operate in Bizzell over the summer. See "Bizzell Library Consulting Hours" for details.
Bizzell is accessible with push-button door entry from the north entrance, closest to the Bell Tower. The consultation space is located in the newer library section, making the Bell Tower entrance the closest to our space. New for Spring 2026: The Writing Center will offer graduate student only hours in Robertson Hall. Consultations on the Robertson schedule will be in person only in Robertson 311.
Not in Norman? Prefer not to travel for a consutlation? No problem!
The Writing Center offers virtual consultation sessions during regular consulting hours. On Sundays, we operate online-only, meaning all of our Sunday visits are remote. To schedule a remote consultation, head to our scheduling platform, WCOnline.
