Course Descriptions, Subject Matter, and Requirements

Economic geography explains the location of economic activities such as business establishments and manufacturing plants. It seeks to conceptualize economic systems, particularly their geographical aspects. In this course, emphasis is placed on the economic-geographic patterns of modern, rather than traditional, economic systems. Class dicussions, student exercises, activities, individual and group projects are an important part of the course.
