The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication Midwinter Conference is an annual forum for the presentation of research and debate in areas relevant to the AEJMC groups (divisions, interest groups and commissions) sponsoring the event. The conference provides a platform for presentations and extended discussions in a relaxed setting.
Conference participants will be able to enjoy the college’s state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities, as well as many winter diversions outside the conference activities, including world-class museums and art galleries. Gaylord will be hosting the midwinter conference – come celebrate with us!

Room rates are $109 per night (plus tax) at the Holiday Inn Express and $125 per night (plus tax) at the Hilton Garden Inn.

A limited number of suites and duplexes are available for Midwinter attendees from Thursday, March 5 through Sunday, March 8, 2026.
These apartments include two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a combined living and dining area, making them ideal for shared accommodations.
Rates are $109 per night (plus 8.75% tax) for Sooner Suites and $89 per night (plus 8.75% tax) for Sooner Duplexes. Rates include Wi-Fi and parking.
Reserve your accommodations by February 19 by visiting Conference and Guest Services and selecting “Gaylord College and AEJMC Midwinter Conference” as the university affiliation.
