Teaching Technology Space

The Center for Faculty Excellence’s Teaching Technology Space is available for Norman affiliated faculty by appointment. To make an appointment, contact cfe@ou.edu. Requests should be made at least two business days in advance, and will be available first-come, first-served, during the hours that CFE is open.

What the Room Includes:

A podcast microphone
Both black and green background screens
A lightboard with computer

Lightboards are incredibly useful for teaching online. You can maintain a connection with your students by looking directly into the camera, while using the lightboard to write equations, create concept maps, or do anything else that you would normally do with a white board.

How to Book a Room:

Read our Teaching Technology Space User Agreement & Waiver. By requesting the room, you’re acknowledging that you have agreed to the waiver.
The space is available 8:30AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday, while the Center for Faculty Excellence is open.
To request the room, create a calendar invite and invite Cfe.220.Teaching.Technology@ou.edu as an attendee for the day and time period you want to reserve the room. Please submit your request at least one business day in advance.
If we can accommodate your request, we’ll accept your calendar invite. You will receive an email confirmation of this.
