Applications for admission are reviewed by two committees: that of your host department-- Zoology or Botany/Microbiology--and the steering committee of the EEB program. State in your application letter to your host department that you wish to be considered for application to the EEB program. The EEB steering committee requires a statement of purpose from the applicant and a letter of sponsorship from a member of the EEB faculty. Both can be included in your departmental application. Potential applicants are encouraged to build a relationship with an EEB professor during the application process.
