Affordability & Value
To ensure that you're considered for all scholarships and financial aid, keep these important deadlines in mind:
- Apply to OU by February 1 to be considered for all incoming freshman scholarships (March 1 for transfer students)
- Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after January 1 of the year you plan to attend OU
Residency Classification
You will be classified either as an in-state student or an out-of-state student based on the information provided in your admission application. Students who claim in-state status may be required to submit paperwork that confirms residency. If you have questions about residency or your classification, go to In-State/Out-of-State Tuition Policy.
