Scholarships in the OU Centralized Academic Hub (CASH)

There are many OU scholarships in the Centralized Academic Scholarship Hub (CASH). The system allows current students to apply for most OU scholarships in one central location, with one deadline.

The following applications will open October 1 and close February 1, unless otherwise noted.

IAS undergraduate or graduate students

 

Study abroad in Latin America or Europe, with extra consideration for students who wish to study in Holland

Molly & David Boren Scholarship

IAS undergraduate and graduate students with financial need and 
enrolled in a study abroad program
 

Paula Throckmorton Zakaria and Fareed Zakaria Scholarship

 

IAS undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a study abroad program

St. Elijah's & Anthony Shadid Arabic Language Study Scholarship

IAS undergraduate and graduate students

Best IAS student in Middle East Studies whose principal language of study is Arabic

Enes Kanter Scholarship

IAS undergraduate and graduate students

Additional consideration given to female students or students who demonstrate a commitment to increasing the prevalence of, or improving the role of, women in the field of international studies

CIS Scholarships Not In CASH

These scholarships must be applied for individually.

Mary & Don Sherman International Networking Scholarship 

IAS undergraduate and graduate students 

IAS majors who take part in an international networking opportunity

Admiral William J. Crowe, Jr. Outstanding IAS Student Award
 

IAS senior graduating in May who demonstrate high academic achievement, a commitment to public service, and a desire to pursue a career in global affairs

Deadline: February 15

William W. Talley, II Award
 

Given every spring in even-numbered years to a graduate IAS alum who is currently enrolled in (or has been admitted and plans to attend) the master's degree program in International Studies (MAIS) at the University of Oklahoma

Student award given in 2024. 

Deadline: February 15

IAS Majors Emergency Relief Fund 

Full-time IAS majors who have experienced emergencies leading to unexpected financial obligations they are unable to meet with their available financial resources.

Deadline: Awarded on a rolling basis; applications reviewed on the 1st of each month.

First Generation CIS Student Scholarship 

IAS majors or minors who are first in their family to attend college. 

Deadline: March 1

Transfer Student Scholarship for CIS Students 

Transfer students with declared majors or minors in the College of International Studies.

Deadline: March 1

Undergraduate DEI Scholarship 

IAS majors or minors whose educational and life experiences uniquely relate to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Deadline: March 1

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Graduate Fellowship 

Applicants to the Master of International Studies program

Deadline: Part of graduate application

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Research Project Award 

Undergraduate students who are conducting research on DEI-related topics

Deadline: September 15/February 15

Parsa Scholarship for Iranian Studies
