In October 2004 an online survey was conducted of student and faculty perceptions of academic misconduct.

The Integrity Council has created a brochure explaining the importance of academic integrity and outlining the misconduct process. Here are the answers to the quiz in the brochure.

The general counsel enforces UOSA provisions.
If you are charged with academic misconduct and wish to have a hearing, you can be represented by a member of the general counsel, all of whom are pre-law students.

The University of Oklahoma ConocoPhillips Writing Center (in Wagner Hall)
Visiting the writing center is very helpful, and sometimes a requirement by professors, when writing papers.
Staff will read your papers and help with content and citing sources.

Created by the Provost's Office and the OU Libraries, this instructional video (first one) walks students through why citing in necessary and what the various forms of plagiarism are.

Carmun's Killer Bib Tool. Founded by former AOL executives.
Calvin College's Knight Cite. Developed by a Calvin student.
Give OttoBib the ISBNs of the books you are referencing and the site will produce a bibliography in a variety of formats.
WebCite caches web pages (similar to the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine) ensuring they can be accessed later, even if the original changed or was removed.
