Dear Resident,
It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome you to your new home at the University of Oklahoma! Whether you're an incoming first-year student taking your first steps into college life or a graduate student pursuing academic excellence, we are committed to making your on-campus living experience truly transformative.
At OU Housing and Residence Life, we believe that where you live plays a vital role in your educational journey. Our community is built upon five core values that shape everything we do:
Belonging: We create intentional spaces where every resident feels valued, seen, and connected to our Sooner family.
Reliability: We deliver consistent, dependable service that you can count on throughout your time with us.
Integrity: We uphold the highest standards of honesty and ethical conduct in all our actions and decisions.
Compassion: We approach each interaction with empathy and genuine care, recognizing that each resident brings unique experiences and needs.
Collaboration: We work together with residents, campus partners, and each other to foster a vibrant, supportive community.
Our dedicated team is here to support your growth and success at every stage of your academic journey. From thoughtfully designed living spaces to engaging community programs, from academic support resources to opportunities for meaningful connections, we strive to create an environment where you can thrive intellectually, socially, and personally.
Your residential experience is more than just a place to sleep and study—it's a foundation for discovery, growth, and lifelong memories. We encourage you to embrace all that our community has to offer, to engage with those around you, and to make your mark on our campus.
Welcome home, Sooner! We're honored to be part of your OU story.
Boomer!
