Responsible Conduct in Research

The Office of Research Services will directly comply with the federal regulations in response to the 2007 COMPETES act. This act states that undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers participating in an awarded research project that was proposed on or after January 4, 2010 will be required to attend the RCR training.

For those supported by NSF, complete the online CITI training which provides information on core topics to consider in efforts to conduct research in a responsible manner. Instruction for registration and requirements for undergraduates and for graduate students/postdocs can be found in here:
